How do you beautiful ladies clean the inside of your purses? I have leather purses that have cloth in the inside and I want to clean the pen stains and other dirty stains...
"I'm hearing you re. the new set." - From Nigel's twitter a little while ago, forgive me if this has already been discussed.
Can anyone tell me what he means? I've been racking my brain but can't think of anything.
I know that I detest the new stage; the old one provided so many more creative avenues for the choreographers and was much more intimate with the dancers. Now, the stage is set so far back like a cavernous beast so you can't get close enough to the dancers physically. Yeah, they need to switch back, there's a reason Canada and Australia copied the exact same stage (I'm assuming they built it specifically???? Correct me if I'm wrong): it is a really good set up!

How should I go about shrinking a pair of skinny jeans that are 98% cotton, 2% spandex?

I've been making this for years, but kind of according to my own recipe, which was good. But tonight I took a look at Julia Child's, and I have to say she totally kicked my ass. I'm really not surprised though - the woman did write a few cookbooks, after all.

I used to use red wine to fill out the broth. Julia's uses vermouth and brandy - a distinct improvement. However, it did mean that I was stuck with some "superfluous" red wine. On a Wednesday, no less! :)

Hello,
I love tank tops, but the ones I have are all 100% cotton which is great, but when I wear them for more than an hour or two they get kind of stretched out and slouchy-looking.. so I was wondering if any of you know where I could find (preferably ribbed) tank tops with a bit of stretch to them?
TIA!

Is there a website that sends out emails when drugstores are having sales on makeup? For some reason I thought i've heard of such a website but maybe i'm crazy!
Also, what are some cute items I can put in a gift basket for Christmas for my boyfriends mom? I've thought about some lotion/sprays from B&BW but I can't think of anything else other then the traditional candles, and stuff like that.

Alright, so after my last post I headed out and picked up this concealer (which is so far so good) and came to terms with the fact that my dark circles are so dark they will *never* be fully gone. On the gal's suggestion I also picked up this eye moisturizer. Though I still have circles they've been duller lately (in part due to more sleep) and the skin below my eyes is definitely softer and less dry. While I was out I also snagged an anti-frizz serum to try out.
And now I have more questions!
A) Makeup aside, what other things can you do to promote good skin health? I know drink a lot of water (which I already do) and wash your face nightly. Anything else I can attempt seeing as my skin is so broken out and oily lately? Lifestyle changes in general?
B) What is the best way to line eyes? Mine tend to look smaller (but sleeker) when I line both lids completely, so I sometimes line half the bottom lid...which sometimes looks silly. Lately I've been lining the upper lid with a pencil but it hasn't been showing very much at all...practically everything I do to my eyes is unnoticeable. :(
C) How do you dye your hair (from a box) without a buddy? Specifically getting your whole head covered when you can't see it from behind. I usually have my bf or my mum do my dye jobs so I've never attempted it on my own.
D) I'm going to try and embrace my curls after spending 20 years as a curl hater. :P Mine are loose waves more than curls, but the fact remains that if I air dry my hair it just goes wavy on it's own. So what products are good for getting loose waves to look tidy, and what tips can you give me for styling them? Nothing super curly, I just don't enjoy that look, but something along the lines of this look. (For reference I have just-above-shoulders length of hair)
Thanks muchly to anyone who can give me a hand. ;)

This was my very first 3-dimensional fondant cake, and my very first working with a Muay Thai theme. Even though Muay Thai has quite a following here in Singapore, I've never had any requests for such theme, in comparison to boxing. It turned out to be so much fun, and I must say that I find it so much easier and less daunting than the tiered wedding fondant cake I've done before :P
Each glove was approximately 8-inch, and they're basically moist chocolate butter cake layered with a rich chocolate frosting, and covered with fondant. The client wanted to incorporate the message "HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, YI XIANG", and to be honest, I had no idea how to incorporate so much onto such little space, so I ended up including a towel to put the message :P

I drove my boyfriend to another city this past weekend so he could take his math subject GRE. I wanted to make it a special trip, so I hunted around for a simple, elegant, no-fuss cake to pack up and bring along. My friend sent me this recipe from Orangette's blog: Gâteau aux Noix, or French Walnut Cake.
This cake has a subtle flavor of white wine, and the toasted walnuts are absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a simple, quick cake to grab a hunk of after dinner, this is the perfect choice.

Say you've got a day off, so you're popping some blackheads. Now parts of your face will be a little pink/swolen for a few hours but you don't care because you're not going anywhere. Then, surprise, you need to go someplace. What do you do to tame your face quickly?

This stuff is like the HG of drugstore makeup. I love it. However, the lightest shade that I have found (Porcelain Ivory) is still too dark for my skin. I've tried mixing it with my moisturizer, still no luck. Has anyone seen a lighter shade than Porcelain Ivory or know if they're going to release more shades? OR know of a similar makeup that has the same coverage, causes no breakouts, lasts all day. It doesn't have to be drugstore.

I recently got bangs and am totally loving them. The problem is that this place is so cold and windy that the bangs become difficult to manage. I love how my bangs look after I blow-dry them but because of the weather, it only lasts a few hours before beginning to get a bit wavy. I'd like the bangs to stay straight yet still have a bit of a poof to them, so I'm thinking of getting the bangs permed, then poofing it.
( A few shots of the bangs... )
I appreciate everyones recommendations on how to keep the bangs straight! Now I'm wondering how long those things last? I blow dry my bangs every morning but with the wind and rain, it lasts up to an hour and a half (two hours at most) and I end up having to do it again. I don't think it's me doing a poor job since when I first got the bangs cut, I had the stylist straighten them out and it still lasted maybe two hours.

Dear guest staying here,
I am sorry the ATM doesn't seem to want to take your debit card, but I cannot use it to give you cash. It is against hotel policy. What's that, you're a high level Priority Club member and you are best friends with the GM? Good for you, but that still won't make me go against hotel policy. What, you're going to talk to the GM and my Front Desk manager tomorrow? Great, I'm sure they'll point out to you that it is indeed against hotel policy and there are no exceptions even for pompous wind bags like yourself.
Sincerely,
Nightauditguy
Note: I did point out a few nearby ATMs he could use
Note2: Only way a guest can get cash back is if the guest paid in cash and there's enough left over for a refund
